"Cimitirul a rămas singura dovadă a prezenţei evreieşti în acest ţinut ascuns între coline. Când îi păşeşti poarta, cimitirul ţi se arată precum un parc căruia nu-i poţi vedea capătul. Cel mai vechi mormânt datează din 1740. Pe piatra înnegrită şi deja acoperită de muşchi, literele, care formau altadată un nume, sunt aproape şterse de vremuri. Se descifrează totuşi ceva care aduce a Dovben Iehuda. Undeva, cam la mijlocul cimitirului, se ridică o „ştibl” [...] — citește
