Despre Kastoria auzisem numai de bine. Oraș tipic grecesc, cu vestigii istorice și cu biserici bizantine, cu străduțe în pantă și cu construcții amplasate ca într-un amfiteatru, cu taverne și cu magazine de tot felul (inclusiv cu blănurile care i-au făcut faima) și bineînțeles cu Lacul Orestiada sau - mai simplu - Lacul Kastoria, după numele localității.
