Am ajuns in Kythira in septembrie 2008, initial am vrut sa fie doar un punct de tranzit in drumul spre Creta, insa insula ne-a fermecat pur si simplu asa ca am ramas aici. Ce pot sa spun, plaje uluitoare, oameni primitori preturi acceptabile cazare la bungalou 20 euro/noapte/. Bungalourile sunt foarte bine intretinute, schimb zilnic de lenjerie si prosoape.
